I just finished the book Beanball by Gene Fehler. It's a really short story, but there's a lot that comes out of it. I liked this book because it was hopeful, kind of sad, and inspiring. I'd give it 4 stars out of 5 stars. I like the characters in this book, and how they turned out in the end. I just wish this book was longer because I'd like to know how the main character Luke Wallace will be able to play with, SPOILER ALERT, one eye. Anyways a recommend this book to anyone looking for an inspiring, short story.
I've finally finished Swipe by Evan Angler, and I can't wait to read the rest of his books. The best thing about this book is how he made you think "Peck" was such a bad guy, but he's not. I wouldn't change anything about this book because it was well written, had great descriptions, had a great plot, great characters and everything was just great. Now I recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries because this is a great mystery book. It also has a cliffhanger at the end, which I usually don't like, but this cliffhanger is really making me want to read the next book Sneak. I also give this book 5 stars out of 5 stars because I enjoyed reading this book so much.
This week I've been reading this book called Swipe by Evan Angler. Now I've just started so I'm only on page 35, but even at this point, I'm hooked. It's only been 35 pages, but the writing, the characters, and the mystery about what "government work" is really wanting me to read more. I am just going to give a rating for the book right now, but I will give it a rating for the book when I'm done. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars, and I can't wait to read more.
Recently I have just finished the long book Gone by Michael Grant. I thought that this book was well written. Although It lost me at some parts. My favorite part about this whole book was the powers that each kid had. But, I think that the author could've done more with the journal of Sam's mom. Otherwise I recommend this book to anyone who is in to mystery, sci-fi and romance. I also give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
I read the first couple chapters of If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I stopped because ,honestly, this book was just too sad for me, and I don't like tearing up while reading books. In my opinion I would change the part where her parents die, but otherwise this book had good descriptions and a nicely written story that paints a clear picture in your mind. Just from my opinion and my opinion only, sad or not sad to others, I give this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to anyone into tragedies, love, hope or sadness.
This week I've been reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone by J.K Rowling. I'm about half way and so far I can't stop reading. This book is absolutely one of my favorites. I've already seen all movies, and I've heard that the books and movies are basically the same. I agree, the movie is basically like the book, so because I already know what's going to happen and I already love this book... I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I wouldn't change anything besides having the parents in the book at the beginning. Otherwise this book has truly great descriptions, and extraordinary story and awesome characters. This has evil, good, adventures and mysteries all mixed up to create a cool fantasy. I recommend this to anyone who loves magic, mysteries, fantasies and good vs. evil.
I finished my book The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau today ,and I give it 5 stars out of 5 stars. This book is basically a mix between Hunger Games and Divergent with some different events. In my opinion, this book is amazing, and is very descriptive. It has a huge story that you can really picture in your head and a lot of exciting moments that make you want to read more. I think that the characters were cool, but could use different names. Also I'd wish certain characters didn't die and that that had more of a background story. Otherwise I wouldn't change anything, and I recommend this book to anyone who likes Hunger Games and Divergent.
I am almost done with the book Inhuman by Kat Falls, and I know I've been reading it for a while, but I'm a very slow reader. Today I am doing a book review for Inhuman. Now, this book has cool and exciting events that take place and shows exactly what this place looks like. It also is very adventurous, based on the events that happen in this book, but it wasn't one of my all time favorite books. I would give it 4 stars out of 5. This book shows great descriptions and it paints a cool picture in your head, although, in my opinion, it could use more exciting and different creatures. Otherwise this book is fantastic and I liked the adventure of the story and the images this book creates in my head. I also liked the characters and I recommend this book to anybody who is wanting to read something new and adventurous.
This week I am reading Inhuman by Kat Falls and I am only so many pages in, but so far, there is a girl named Delaney Park McEvoy, who is a senior in high school. She, ever since she was young, always wanted to see the Feral Zone across a giant wall called the Titan. Her father an "artist" told her stories about this place, but told her about it as code as if she were to go there one day. Now, the Feral Zone is where no one can go unless you are a banished criminal, soldier/patrol and/or a scientist. The wall, the Titan that separated the Western side of the Mississippi River from the Eastern side. It was made because 19 years ago, by the same people who built the Titan, created this virus called the Ferae Naturae Virus that had spread all over the eastern side of America. This virus has no vaccine or cure, and it travels to another human or animal by a bite and can be given to another human or animal by a human or animal. 19 years ago when this virus was first made, it killed anyone who got it, but now it doesn't kill you, it makes you mutate and become "inhuman". One day Delaney is at a party with her friends at one of their friends house and is taken away by Biohaz agents because she had "potential exposure" to this virus. SPOILER ALERT she doesn't have it. This women, Dr. Spurling, wanted to talk to her about her father, the so called "artist". Dr. Spurling told Delaney about how her father is actually a fetch, someone who sneaks over the Titan to the Feral Zone and fetches items from the East, and made a deal with Delaney that if she can find her father and tell him to fetch something for Dr. Spurling, then she won't expose everything about her father. Delaney decides to do this because if you are a fetch you will be executed since you might be infected with the virus. The problem is Delaney doesn't really know how to protect herself and she doesn't even know where her father is. I hope you enjoyed this small summary of what I've read so far and that anyone reading this decides to read this book Inhuman.
